I have used my VX5R HT a LOT for YEARS to TX & RX for a Remote Base... I wore out 2 MH34 mics so I ordered 2 of these. Works great better Quality

My Son in Law has a Tree Triming Business and uses These Radios Every Day !
I have had FRS Radios for over 10 years. From the obvious toy ones to ones sold as commercial. When I wanted some new ones, I sat down for over an hour on Ebay checking out dozens of these little Hand Held Radios. I looked at the ones that had the most usable fetchers, the ones that didn't look like Toys, and the ones that can be charged with a common cell phone charger ! These radios have that and much more, like the Audio from both Transmit and Receive is every bit as good or better as any hand held I have ever owned ! It has fetchers like "Push to Talk Time out" , "VOX" "Dual Channel Monitor" "High and Low Power" "Scanning" "Even a small LED Flash Light".... And even a User Manual that I could understand the first time I read it ! ! ! Go get a pack of "Good Quality Rechargeable" AA Batteries... ( It takes Three ) And you have "The Best Bang for the Buck"
