may have thickness consequences...

I got my craftsman 103.0103 band saw at a garage sale. not knowing anything about band saws I wanted to use it for cutting aluminum so I bought a bi-metal blade. after trying to use it for a while I learned about tires. I didn't have tires on mine so I assumed I needed tires so I bought these. after installing the tires I noticed the blade is slightly offset and rubs on the guides because the diameter is now slightly bigger. not sure if there are thinner tires that I should have bought instead. anyways my band saw is working ok although I think these tires are too thick for my saw. since this saw is very old I can't find out it if it originally had tires and if it did how thick they were.

will it last?

I installed this and it works fine . This is the third optispark I have put in my Corvette. The aftermarket Ones seem to last about 3 years or 10000 miles. I'm hoping this one last longer because it's a lot of Labor installing this.
