Seller says shipping cost $6.72, so why did eBay charge me $12.45 (plus 8% for Hamburg Hochul)? I spoke with eBay. They said my only recourse is to pester the seller for the difference! Shipping, in general, is ridiculously out of control and damage most heavy items they touch! Call eBay if you want "lip service". This stuff is ruining the whole experience. However, I don't see any of this as fault of seller!

How long will this one work?
Not same as original. Materials unknown, fuels compatability, etc. But cheap enough to replace a couple times if that's what you like to do.

Good Used Heat Sink
I currrntly own 3 identical Dell D531's living on different continents. I carry only the hard drive between locations when I travel. They each perform a little differently thermally. This one was the worst, having temperature excursions above 65C.
After replacing the heat sink, it never gets out of the 50's. I believe there was variation in heat transfer performance as nee and now at 15 years old, just lucky to find a good used one.
