Foundry gloves
I use these for melting copper, they obviously aren’t flame proof for 2000* but you can get in there and get done what needs to be done without having to quickly throw them off like other gloves because you’re fingers are on fire. You’re fingers will still burn in these, these just hold out a few minutes longer before the burning occurs.

Stirring rod
Have to be very very careful with this apparently, mine broke easily after not much use. I went to 1/2”
