I like the guide in general because they try to list every comic book ever printed in the US. There are many more titles than Overstreet puts in their guide. What I find lacking is some info on specific issues and I find the values extremely off for many of the books. If I could find many of the books for the prices they state, I'd jump on them in a second. I know the book is from 2010, but even back then, some of the prices were inaccurate. I find the book useful for the title listings, so I would recommend it. I've actually sent some info several years ago on some of the more obscure independent books.
The Beckett Baseball Annual price guide has been getting smaller and smaller. They've been removing more and more sets from the book that I'm interested in knowing the values for. Most of the prices in the guide are recognized in the monthly release. The online price guide is too expensive for a year subscription. I won't be purchasing Beckett annual guides any longer as I think it's a waste of money for the information given.
