Dyson V8 absolute winner winner
2 of 2 found this helpful The V8 is worth the money. I’d recommend this to anyone, it is pricey, I opted for the refurb from dyson outlet and also got a code for 20% off which certainly took the sting out of it. The attachments are actually powered meaning they work much like a conventional corded vacuum. The absolute contains a head specific for hard floors, it’s worth the extra over the other variants.
It arrived so quick, less than 24hrs.
I’d actually just cleaned the house using the DC24 but curiosity being what it is I tried the V8 on a carpet and a hardwood floor, I was surprised how much it picked up having just used the DC24. It’s actually so powerful on turbo mode I couldn’t push it over the carpet.
On my experience if your considering it then you’ll know it’s not cheap but if you got the money it’s worth it.

Strong and quality feel
Bought this socket for motorbike wheel adjustment, I'm an engineer to trade so I'm used to good (and sometimes not so good) tools, this is a good socket, certainly good enough for professional use
