Don't bother

Top, shelfb boyh plywood (Thin) internal timbers, pine, I'd guess 5% 'solid oak'
Screw holes don't line up, get the picture??

Turf or seed
moving into new house, had to choose between turfing or seeding the rear garden, both involved similar prep, but turf gave 'instant' lawn for £6-700, seeding takes longer, but for £30 ish......
Bit of a no-brainer, opted for seed.
As it was fairly early in the year, planted a test plot, that came through in ~ 2 weeks, so planted the rest.
Had calculated that 10Kg would be comfortable, ended up being heavy handed, had to buy another 2Kg - my fault, hard to judge!
By end of Summer, I expect to have a lawn the equal of 'turfed' cash difference means we can eat.

Why buy new, it'll be 'used' as soon as you do!!
Whilst the map is 'used' you would never know it - map is crisp, unmarked & fold-free. If I bought 'new' it would look like this for 1 or 2 trips......
Map detail itself is fine, obviously dated, but mountains don't (Normally...) move.
