So far, so good
1 of 1 found this helpful I've owned a number of these in the past - they seem to only last a year or two (running 24/7 in my RV when it's parked at home, and running when we are on shore power when we are camped, to keep the moisture down). But they do seem to work for RVs, and do pull the water out of the air. Much cheaper than fixing mold problems!

OFF does not mean OFF! The LEDs still draw power even with this dimmer set to "Off"
7 of 8 found this helpful This seems to work, but a very big negative is that OFF is not OFF... Yes, the LED light is off, but when I see the word off, it should mean electrically not connected. In reality, in the off position, the LED light strip is still getting power - for my light strip, it was getting about 18 mA when it was "OFF". Is this important - well, maybe. I use this in my RV, and when I am on battery, I really don't want ANYTHING drawing down power when it is off, especially if I plan to stay camped for a week without power. 18 mA is not a lot, but it should be zero to be "off". So I am going to put an on/off switch in series with this so that OFF really will mean OFF. They should really have said that there will be some low current passing through this dimmer even in the OFF position. I will still say that it does works to dim the LEDs, so I'm going to keep it, but people need to know that it passes through a parasitic load.

Simple, and works. Can't get much better than that!
I needed something simple to help me keep track of exercise repetitions for a tendon issue. This was just what I was looking for.
