Hop to Watering
This Scheurich plastic watering frog is of very good quality. You pour water into its wide mouth, which seeps down through the terra cotta spike into the soil so as to provide four days of watering. I originally bought one locally at a farm supply store. When I wanted to get more, however, I found they no longer carried them. I found them on E-Bay in this three pack, at a quantity discount. The frogs come in four translucent colors. I received one each of orange, green, and grape. The other available color is yellow, although I'm not sure these are the actual color names, since the frogs all come displayed in the same generic box. The picture above shows a display of what looks like sixteen individually boxed frogs of various colors. This is the display the farm store had from which I bought the first frog.

Angels Can Fly Because They Take Themselves Lightly
"Angels can fly because they take themselves lightly" Chesterton writes in this book. Although at one point he reached 300 pounds, no one took himself more lightly than G.K.C.. He wrote this book in 1908. The same year he released his most famous fantasy novel, "The Man Who Was Thursday". Chesterton is best known as the author of the Father Brown detective stories, but he wrote many other stories, novels, biographies, essays, and other books. In his 1936 autobiography, Chesterton said he never liked the name of this book, but never got around to changing it. In it he tackles and considers many of the ideas of his day. It also reveals Chesterton's ongoing spiritual search which eventually led to he and his wife being received in 1922 into the Roman Catholic Church. Since it's first publication more than a century ago this book has never been out of print
