the ghost and the darkness

loved this movie, not for the squeamish, as it depicts some gory scenes, but lots of val kilmer "eye-candy." Based on a true story, although I was disappointed when I found out Remington was fiction. great scenes of Africa.

Read the concept of the movie before you see it so you know what's going on

The concept of the filmis interesting, the actors great, but the wierd, visual scenes seem to go on forever, and it is so easy to get mixed up about what they are telling you. You need to read a synopsis of the movie first before you see it.

Very intense and hard to read the first half. Hard to imagine a little girl's life could be this way. But how she overcomes the hardship and turns out so beautiful is amazing
