Good machine for the money.
I owned an old Kenmore vacuum before this one (made in 1975) that finally died which prompted the purchase. While it did have a place for all the attachments, it used bags, which is something I wanted to avoid. I needed a vacuum cleaner for my apartment that was bagless and could pick up a lot of dirt (I have four children and a husband). This vacuum cleaner is very quiet, and the unit has a sizeable canister for picking up debris. The bare floor setting is nice and makes this a good tool for the tile floors in my apartment. While this model is good at picking up small debris, it does not seem to like to pick up paper, even small bits. Items like this get stuck in the rollers. I've found the hose attachment to be useful for the purpose of small paper pickup instead of trying to vacuum these items up, or I'll sweep before vacuuming to get up larger items. Another thing to note is the canister has an open top. If you try to remove it too quickly, you'll end up re-dusting yourself and your surrounding area (not good if you are an allergy sufferer or have asthma!). I remove the canister slowly and have a piece of cardboard to cover the top while I lift it to the trash can to avoid inhalation. I've found it's a good idea to be pretty close to the place of disposal before removing the canister to avoid any unnecessary contamination of my travel path to disposal. Also, there is a suction power indicator facing the operator to notify of any loss of suction. I would additionally recommend while vacuuming, you may want to stop periodically and check to ensure the canister is not getting too full. Stop and place the vacuum in its full upright position to see how much dirt is collected. The cyclone motion will often make it seem like there is not very much dirt in the canister, and if this piece becomes full, suction will suffer. I do find the attachments very handy. The various attachments help with cleaning odd areas. Mine came with a Turbobrush, which has rotating bristles, an upholstery brush, a velvet-covered specialty brush, another small brush attachment, and a long crevice tool. One item to note, not all the attachments fit on the back of the unit. Only the Turbobrush, upholstery brush, and crevice tools have a place to click on to. I keep extra attachments in a case until ready to use. This unit has a long cord that lets me work without having to constantly hunt down an outlet. It also uses Febreze filter covers, which I find overpowering, but many people like Febreze, so it is generally tolerable. Since I purchased a refurbished model, I had to download the user manual. The instructions are a bit lacking, and attaching the handle was a bit of a nightmare as the handle and body screw holes did not fully line up on one side. However, once I took the time to look and see where the misaligned screw was actually heading, I could adjust for everything and have a solidly built machine. This model has an additional handle on the back to make lifting easier. Overall, if you can tolerate the odd documentation, and are willing to find solutions for some of this machine's quirks, you'll have a good tool for cleaning your home.
PVC Home Office Chair Floor Mat Studded Back with Lip for Standard Pile Carpet

Very functional chair mat
I like the mat. It arrived rolled up, but laid out flat and quickly adapted to the carpet. It stays in place. My chair rolls well on top of it, and I have the added benefit of protecting the carpet from spills. It is very easy to clean, and is not intrusive.
ANNIE COSMETOLOGY PORTABLE MANNEQUIN HEAD WIG HOLDER STAND DESK TABLE (#4833)

Perfect for light hats too!
I have a rather floppy hat made of lightweight leather. It has a hard time keeping its shape. Also, because the hat is leather, it tends to shrink if not worn on a consistent basis. I spotted this item and thought I would give it a try to help the hat keep its shape. It works! I'm pretty sure if it can hold up a light leather hat, it will be perfect for supporting a wig.
