My Big Jambox is ALIVE!
This battery brought my Big Jambox back to life.
Check YouTube for DIY videos for replacement. While there is some variation in design among the years of production, the replacement process is straight forward.
Someone with modest skills can replace the battery in about 30 minutes if they have the correct screwdrivers & torx driver. With just a little care, you can replace the battery and reassemble the Big Jambox with no signs of disassembly. Except for a little double stick tape on the battery to keep it from rattling, there is no glue, adhesive or tape to worry about.
NOTE: Take care when re-inserting the flex cable into the PC board connector. Check for proper operation including all buttons & charging before replacing all the screws, end caps, etc.
