Steering Head Bearings & seals for Honda QR50 AE01 83-97

These steering head bearings will not work with the supplied seals. Have to use genuine bottom seal on steering stem. The top cone sits very high in the frame making it impossible for the supplied seal to seal. Had to pack adjustment nut (with plastic cover) full of grease to try to create It’s own seal. Grease squeezed out under the plastic cover as you wound down the thread to the correct tension. The bearings may be ok quality but time will tell, the bike has only been ridden once so far. If water enters into the steering head bearings after washing due to no adequate sealing I will just replace them with the genuine set next time.
