Worth the $
Starting with the looks while @ play: AWESOME! Looks great coming out of the bag @ headcover. Looking down and lining up putts is very easy with the face shape and aim line. (Easy to square up) Cost is irrelevant if you want to play with a great milled putter. Wasn't sure if I wanted a milled putter, would recommend trying one out @ your local pro shop first as spin will dramatically be affected on miss hits if you chop at the ball or pull it just the same. Milled takes some getting used to. I personally had a heavier weighted putter prior to purchasing the S.C. sonoma (2012 model) so long lag putts are lacking distance I'm used to, but luckily the weights are interchangeable. I do like the 15g weights for feel so more rounds will help eliminate that problem anyway. Sound is great on the putt as a mishit will definately sound different than a true stroke, as will feel. Hope this helps with any wanting to purchase what seems to be the putter that will definately give you the confidence and feedback to score!
