Just saved $300.00
1 of 1 found this helpful To anyone with a weber spirit on its last legs that is less than 10 years old: get this, and then call Weber to have your burner tubes replaced if they are cracked or rusted. It's better than a new $400.00 weber from the store. I am very happy with the quality of the steel in the grates, and the flavorizer bars are even thicker than the original weber painted steel item--but these are stainless.
With the old, flaky, rusted cast iron grates removed, and the swiss-cheese flavorizer bars out, cleaning the grill with a scraper was a snap. I was afraid to do it before ordering this item, because I as sure the brittle parts in my grill would not survive being handled. I noticed the cross member connecting the 2 Spririt e210 burner tubes was severed. One short phone call and new ones were on their way. The originals were just an easy pull from the control-side of the grill, and out they came. The new ones slid right in.
With the new grates and flavorizer bars made of stainless steel, I'm more confident I can disassemble the grill and clean it throroughly, extending the life of the rest of the components.

Exactly my kind of e-bay exoerience
I have a bad habit of always going with the least expensive item, so I’m used to some slightly off-kilter experiences on auction sites. I went a few pennies past the lowest price this time (it took a lot of will power) and I’m glad I did. In an older laptop for one of my kids, I regularly get full ac speeds out of this adapter. Drivers installed automatically and all of the reliability problems I was having with the atheros adapter this one replaced have vanished.
