Good computer, good price
It's well packaged, attractive, simple, quiet, fast. It's smaller than older desktops, bigger than some tiny units. I like the size and the easy access to USB ports front and back, CD/DVD drive, etc. Anything much smaller would lack some of those features. Started up quickly and without issue.

Well made pool vacuum head
The plastic is very thick and sturdy. The brushes are very good quality and can be replaced, and it has 3 tabs for the hinges while most have 2. The weights included can be used or not, and it's generally a well-engineered and manufactured vacuum head. I've had 3 others and none of them were this nice. That said, it is a bit more expensive than most, but seems like it will last longer.

Relates Profit Motives to Safety Decline,Misses Culture
The authors do a good job covering all of the events, people, programs and trends at Millstone Station from its heyday to its decline and turnaround in the 1990's. They do a good job correlating (regression analysis, etc.) cost-cutting measures to the decline of safety at the plant. They overlook the culture, however, including leader communication style, etc. to a certain degree. In the end, their conclusions don't make any sense given how the plants run today. Specifically, the plants are operated today at about half the O&M cost of when NU owned the plants and came off the NRC watch lists, yet they have few if any of the safety/SCWE issues. Bottom line: if the authors' conclusions were accurate, the plants would be in horrendous shape today with innumerable safety issues. That does not appear to be the case whatsoever. NU instantiated a strong safety conscious work environment - culture before turning them over to Dominion at auction, and Dominion has driven costs down by changing but without destroying that culture. It's not just corporate profit and the correlation between it and nuclear safety remains unproven. Nevertheless, a thoughtful and worthwhile read, quick reading.
