Legendary or Mythical ?
2 of 2 found this helpful Either way it's a fabulous sound. Like warm honey. I'm over 70 and have the high frequency hearing loss which comes with age and also suffer from tinitus! I wanted and amp which would penetrate the tinitus and compensate for the hearing loss without sounding artificial. This does it in spades.
Electronically it seems beyond reproach but the physical build quality is not great. The fascia is thin and easily damaged. Rear panel connections are only nickel plated and seem fairly budget and it's all held together with self tapping screws. All the quality seems to have been lavished 'under the hood'. I have seen comments to the effect that there is nothng on the market today which can touch it at it's typical asking price (arouund £100+) and I wouldn't argue. As they are 40 years old now try and get a refurbished one with some sort of guarantee. My first one was faulty but the vendor, Neil Hodgson, immediateley replaced it and bent over backwards to ensure my full satisfaction.

Sticks like s**t to a blanket
0 of 1 found this helpful Wanted to anchor a small mobile ham radio to the top of my car dashboard whic is not completeley flat and has a matte finish. Two of them do the job and a third holds the mic.

Bigger than you think !
Seems just as good as any I've used previously and certainly cheaper.
Be careful when you open it. It's vacuum packed and mine expanded out of it's 'ziplock' envelope when I opened the outer packaging, and it's not easy to get it back in!!
