A nice selection of cars over the decades

Tad Burness has, for many years, featured a different car in his syndicated articles in newspapers across the country. He has a unique drawing style, but his cars do include a lot of detail that most enthusiasts appreciate.
The Ultimate Auto Album features a large number of these articles, in order of the model years of the cars he illustrates. Each drawing includes a few paragraphs on the car itself.
In addition, Tad's drawing often reflect the time of the car he's illustrating. Popular songs of that year, or style of houses, often people in period dress, are illustrated and mentioned. Some drawings reflect actual orignal ads of the featured automobile.
Many of the cars illustrated here are rare, or unusual. Some are one-of-a-kind, built by the designers with the hope of production that never materialized for whatever reason. In these cases, Tad gives an explanation of what went wrong.
This book is excellent leisure reading for both old car, and Amercian history, buffs. It gives a genuine feel for the "good old days" when cars reflected America's mood and times.
