cheap, but not good quality
4 of 4 found this helpful This frankincense oil is 20-50 times cheaper than a top brand like neal's yard or doTerra... so, is it worth it?
on first sniff it smells ok-ish. compared to a 'real' frankincense oil, this one has a much more chemical scent, like petroleum.
when I use this oil in the sauna (a few drops shaken with water, poured onto the hot rocks) the smell that comes off is much less pleasant, and less long lasting, than using a real essential oil.
the price is good, but if it was for personal use I would buy a high quality frankincense oil.
the only reason I would use this is if I needed a lot, like for a theatre performance, or a big religious ceremony, or something where I needed a lot of frankincense scent and the quality was not important.
