I had HIGH Expectations...
After finally accepting that I’d have to pay more than I prefer to for this polish, I couldn’t wait to finally get it. I’d been eyeing it for quite some time because the color was the perfect ‘blood red’. Now, after much anticipation, this polish FAILED completely. My $3.99 generic polish was better than this. OPI is supposed to be of high quality, but this fell very short of that. It took 5 COATS to get it to be the advertised color. It puddled terribly on every coat - so badly that it would fall to the cuticles while under the curing light. Because of the puddling, I could only do one coat at a time. The puddling under the light caused the nails to look very unprofessional and as if a child painted them. After 5 COATS, it was still translucent in areas of the nail. It would also not coat the tip of my nails, no matter what I did. This was a very disappointing purchase and experience and I expected far better from an OPI product.
