Works well.

Connected straight away to my doorbell unit by following instructions. I have MP3 programmable bell units so I was able to use my choice of sound file for this unit to distinguish it from when someone presses the bell push which I set to make a different sound. Default setting is the "moon" option which I guess means it doesn't operate after dark or before dawn. That suits me as it can be triggered by pigeons and foxes and I don't want that in the middle of the night!. Dunno if it's possible to make it work at night yet as that could be useful if I'm expecting an evening delivery in the dark of Winter. Seems a great shame Honeywell don't seem to be making this device any more, and they couldn't be bothered to reply to my query on their website, so very pleased I was still able to buy a new one on eBay!

Just right for getting into fiddly items

My Sky+HD remote power button stopped working, so rather than spend £25 on a new remote I thought I'd have a go at repairing it myself. Needed a tiny torx wrench too, and then this clever little plastic gizmo which saves your fingernails and avoids blemishing the casing through using screwdrivers or blades etc. Turned out to be some gunge on the backs of the buttons from spilled tea. Oops. Hehehe. Cleaned up, reassembled, WORKING! Very happy.

Good range of sizes and colours and great price

I bought this as a starter pack as I've finally run out of all the heatshrink I bought many years ago. I chose this one based on price and selection. Each size has 4 colours and comes in its own rather delicate but resealable clear plastic bag, so if you don't have an organiser for them then you can still keep them fairly neatly. But bizarrely, presumably to keep the pack flat in the post (or for stock reasons) the bags are taped to form a flat array, using an extremely sticky packing tape. So if you want to keep the individual bags for organising, you'd better be extremely careful removing the tape! I still managed to rip two of the bags despite taking great care, but I'll probably get a cheap organiser for them anyway :o) Very pleased with the selection - it'll be a loooong time before I need any more heatshrink, and at this price you can't go wrong.
