Great reptile cage, does the Neodesha name proud!
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this cage based on my previous experience with past Neodesha cages. Must say this cage exceeds my expectations. The quality and thoughtfulness put into this cage is impressive; the tempered glass doors are of the highest quality, the tracks are secure and the glass fits tight on the tracks but comes out easy for cleaning. One of the pieces of glass (the one that goes on the front) has a piece of plastic that opens the door easily. The back piece does not have this plastic as it sits flush against the cage, which is great as it eliminates a gap where snakes can escape. The vents are double-screened and on the side which means you can put the cage flat up against a wall. The cage is very secure, a must for venomous or "hot" reptiles. I also like that these cages can be stacked as they are nice looking and great for seeing your reptiles. The light that came with the package fits perfectly and lights the cage nicely.
As the other reviewer said the litter dam is a little low, but certainly not a big issue. I do like how the litter dam sits flush with the front so it is easier to clean and there is no hide spot. Also, if you are going to lock the cage go with a showcase lock that sticks to the glass, not screws on. The tolerance is so good that the screw-in case locks do not work well for this cage.
All in all, I could not be happier with this reptile cage. While I love the Neodesha's of old, these new stackable cages exceed them and are a must if you have venomous reptiles. A great quality, made in the USA reptile cage that should absolutely not be overlooked if you are in the market.
