Caveat emptor
Save your money and buy Schallers or 5 Star.
All of these tuners are rough operating and tend to catch. The 5th string tuner in this set is totally unusable because it locks up. If you are a builder or repair person, you don't want these coming out of your shop.
Lets just say that I bought some more experience.

3 of 3 found this helpful This is manufactured by Ruger so it should work well, and it does. It fits my circa 1975 MK I, that I purchased new, with no modification or adjustment and operates exactly like the original.

Good value
2 of 2 found this helpful Virtually no play in the quill bearings. Unusual in this price range. Good overall fit and finish. No cosmoline to remove. One demerit is mounting of the chuck. It is a press fit on tapered shaft. You set it in place with a mallet or hammer and a block of wood. It's adequate, but could be better. The motor is very smooth and quiet. I would buy another
