Bottle safety top needs attention
I'm no gardener, I'm just trying to make my path look tidy and my expectations were based on other reviews and as far as effectiveness is concerned, I cannot complain.
However, as far as the packaging is concerned, nice idea having a measurable dose mechanism but in conjunction with a very dodgy safety top, was a messy business.
I had to hold the bottle between my feet to get sufficient purchase on the top with both hands pushing down and turning to open it. Afterwards, I tightened it as best as I could but there was no clear point at which I felt I should stop and the top just kept turning. When I came to measure the second dose and tipped the bottle up, the contents leaked out all over my hands and everywhere.
I use a lot of fluids with safety tops, some of which are awkward, but I am pretty sure that this is the worst I have come across. Maybe I have a defective top but I think it is more likely a poor design.

Badly constructed and arrived damaged
1 of 1 found this helpful This Wolf Flip Over Mitre Table Saw arrived with one of its feet bent which I removed and straightened and discovered in the process that whether by accident or design, the feet were attached the wrong way. If they had been attached the correct way, the bending would not have happened. I then discovered that the table saw fence guide rail was also bent and given that it is about 5mm thick aluminium, it must have been with some force. So, the fence would not attach properly and at one extreme of the guide rail, it was thrown out by several degrees by the bent rail.
The riving knife could not be properly deployed because to tighten the fitting knob sufficiently would put excess pressure on the mitre saw blade guard which would inevitably cause damage at some point or distort the riving knife and/or the blade guard.
The table saw blade guard was supposed to be fitted to the riving knife once it was deployed but the key slot in the riving knife was not big enough for the pin in the table saw blade guard to fit. I used as much force as I dare trying not to damage either piece but it was impossible. There is a button which exposes a narrow part of the pin when pressed but there was no way it was going to fit.
I did manage a couple of successful rip cuts before deciding that the thing would be going back. The two stars are for the fact that it did cut the wood and it was not badly priced but it is not properly functional and unsafe, so I would not recommend it.

Quick and simple but not 14MP and savagely crops photos
1 of 1 found this helpful The description says that this is a 14MP device but it is actually 13MP (4416 x 2944 which equals 13,000,704 pixels). It also forcibly crops about 15% of the image area. I contacted Veho about these issues via their website but received no reply.
It isn't actually a scanner, rather a captive camera - there are no moving parts which do any scanning. But for that reason, it takes a few seconds to capture an image compared to several minutes with a true slide scanner that I have used connected to a Mac - pre-scan, scan and then the software spends another minute processing before the image is saved.
It's difficult to say how accurate the colours are from negatives as they are quite old, they appear to have low colour saturation but slides seem to be fairly accurate.
However, it is very easy to use and if you want a reasonably high resolution device to digitally capture your old photos and don't mind the cropping as well as being misled about the resolution, it is probably worth the money and is less hassle than using an actual scanner.
