Works perfectly and protects the underside
Love this little truck, but being a rock crawler the underside gets really beat up. The main center skid plate that's also made of stock plastic has already been changed out for aluminum. You might want to bend one side of the plate a bit so it hugs the tranny housing more closely. Otherwise, the fit and finish are a perfect fit for the UTB18. Worth the money.

Worth the price and even better with some modifications
If you've purchased a RTR RC car in the past, then this one won't disappoint. Yes, you'll need to modify this product in some ways to get the best performance out of it. No RTR comes already perfectly suited to what you're looking for. Still, the product is worth the price paid. Runs quietly, especially when you add lubricant to the front and rear axles.
