Does what it's supposed to do

Great tension balance

This is now my favourite 5 string set. I've got them on 34 and 35 inch scale basses and find the balance in tension across all strings is pretty good. The quality is high and they sound very good, retaining brightness after several weeks of use. The B is sufficiently strong and taught on the 34" scale, and sits well in a live mix and naturally is even better on the longer scale bass. There are no silk wraps on these strings so they work equally well with through body or top loading bridges and, despite the .135 low B, I've found them easy to fit on both basses, without needing to recut the nut . All in all, this is by far my favourite 5 string set for all styles of music
