Boom 3 has other issues
From boom2 the ear piece is smaller and if in noisy place turn up sound over does it and gets fussy. Ear piece hanger is different. can't use two ear pieces to get a better fit. If hinged piece doesn't mate well will cause unit to turn on/off at any time: especially if you are doing head movements. My last device is now suffering this and hoped to replace. It has many hours of use until the hinged piece broke after about 2 years of very careful moving it. The fit and loudness was not a problem as the boom3 has. I have worn the 2 for 10 hours straight until it notified of power, not once did it give me the headache the 3 did in under 2 hours. all I did was to remove from my head, headache gone in 2 hours without assistance. i'm returning the Boom3 and look for boom2 if still around or another product after 8 years.

I got 1 out of this order that functioned, not what asked for the 600 series. wasted $40.oo
0 of 1 found this helpful used these before but hard to find now and works many hours. the new boom2 has issues of distance and sound quality. I had asked for 2, the 600 series failed on the start but the 550 series, older did work and I needed something now.
