Easy to use hard drive
If you want more than one of these excellent external hard drives, make sure it is from the same maker. Although the product is identical whether you buy Maxtor, Samsung, or Seagate, the bundled software will only recognise hard drives from the maker on the box. The company website is no use.
Still it is not necessary to use the software.
Otherwise no problem. I have several and they work perfectly

very useful USB hub
the item is easy to use. Good instructions. Ideal for external DVD players and hard drives. It means back ups are easy and burning DVDs from the hard drives is also easy
