If it holds continues to hold up it is a good value, of course it is plastic same as the stock oem but there is some major differences between the two
1 of 1 found this helpful On the stock oem intake the mounting points for the coils, fuel rails, cruise control and anything else that mounts to the intake have threaded metal inserts to bolt into. The Dorman does not have the metal insert and utilizes a self tapping style screw to secure the item to the intake. Dorman however does supply these supposed specialized screws. The underside "volume tank" on the Dorman is much smaller than stock as well which allows for the exemption of the heat shield on the stock manifold.
The truck does run good and does not leak coolant so it does serve its purpose. it is a good substitute for OEM factory but feel it could have been better. Just my two cents worth. Would I recommend it? At this time yes but will point out the differences from it and the stock intake.

Absolutely worth it! Makes it easier to clean and reassemble
I first took down my Ruger MKIII to clean up any "wire edges" on the internal operating parts to make the trigger better. Trying to get everything back together was a pain. But the trigger was improved drastically. Once I removed the Magazine Disconnect and installed this bushing the trigger worked even better and smoother. Now the gun can be fired with the accuracy one would expect from this type of gun.
