Engaging story

This riveting movie follows Anne as a young adult in the early 1900s. Her husband enlists in the military as a medic, serving in France during in World War I, and his whereabouts become unknown. Anne, headstrong as ever, travels to France on a mission to find him. The movie chronicles the obstacles she faces in her search. This is an older DVD, with the 3+ hour movie split onto both sides of the disc. One drawback is that there are no closed-captions.
