Review of butter mill
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this product as a replacement for a Pampered Chef Butter Butler that lasted many years but finally had a part wear out. This product works as advertised, however there is one issue I've encountered. The red dye in the plastic leeches out where it comes in contact with the butter, turning the butter pink/red. :( I can get around this by placing a piece of folded up paper towel between the 'plunger' and the butter, as a buffer, and just not using the end cap. Even so, I am still concerned about possible other chemicals in the plastic leeching out...
