OK. but not excellent.
Have a simple policy without tons of fine print. Just offer to fix something if it fails during the insured period.

TT tuner 229B
TenTec did a fine job providing this tuner. It is from 1987 and still is a star performer. It tunes all my HF antennas very well. It is a keeper.

IC 735 is a reliable HF xcvr and has a great rcvr.
2 of 4 found this helpful I remember this xcvr when I was mobile about 20 years ago. I liked it then and I do now. It has a very good rcvr on all bands. It has general coverage from 0.1 to 30 mhz, and all the HF Ham bands. SSB is very good on xmt. AM xmt is a little touchy to setup and does not have great audio according to reports. The audio is clear but has a narrow audio frequency range. So, I just use it on SSB and CW with exlnt results. It makes a good portable rig, and if I didn't have one, I would get it again. It is a very reliable xcvr.
