Not practical
At the price I didn't expect top quality, so I'm not disappointed. The plastic is too soft and bendy, so not sturdy enough to easily thread through even quite big stitches.

Does the job well
I've been pleasantly surprised with this neat, solid and convenient sharpener. It's been great for oil based pencils as well as graphite pencils. Good price for a good quality product.

Okay but not quite as expected
It's ok as gauze goes, but I wouldn't really describe it as butter muslin. For cheesemaking/straining, it will need to be doubled up.
