Used is a gamble and I got lucky.

Used cable was a toss-up and I got lucky. Old one was tight, this one was free. I did discover it was 1/2" shorter than the 1996 one, but I made it work.

defective tire

This tire had .040" radial run-out when mounted on a rim with only .010 radial run-out. I knew from experience that it would never run without an annoying harmonic hop from 40-50mph, so I took it off the rim and sent it back. I bought a Kenda Kruz, a cheaper tire, but in this size it ran much truer than the Bridgestone.
