Too complicated

I’m sure this does everything advertised but I cannot find my way through all the screens and connectivity issues. I can do most everything I want with just my phone but hoped to add hrm and still utilize strava. I guess Garmin wants you to use their connect feature. That’s not clear or easy to use and I want to maintain strava.
