Good but not perfect
I was surprised this device does not have a shut off switch. One has to add a power strip with a shut off or pull the plug, so it's impractical in this regard. Also, for some of my locomotives the slowest speed is too fast, which was dissappointing. Although it seems old, it's well restored and basically works as expected.

The performance is terrific but it remains to be seen whether the DVD disc may be defective
Ballet and music terrific but had trouble with the video. Picture stopped/froze during play about a dozen times, then resumed. I don't know if this was due to a defective DVD or my DVD player.
