Speaker and rechargeable battery are very desirable features.
I bought this for my 97 year old mother who is blind and can only hear with hearing aids. She picked up the basics very quickly and can navigate around the bible fairly easily. The sound quality could be better, especially at higher volume settings. She finds the layout of the numerical keys difficult and cannot input the 6 digit code for a specific chapter and verse.
This is the 2nd type of digital bible she has owned and is her favorite because of the built in speaker, NLT version of the bible and built in rechargeable battery.
