rapid bench power supply
the product is a solid unit ,i believe they where used in schools and universities .so it not one them cheap plastic ones you normally see .that tend to fail after a month ,the amps go up to 2.5 .so if your using it for plating that,s about 15 square inches .if you want to plate bigger items ,you will need more amps .like 5 or 10 or even 20 . i would not pay a £100 pounds for this item ,simply because its second hand and its age .i would say £40 to £50 max is about right .beware there are sellers asking a £100 and above for these units ,which is crazy . the unit does not have fine adjustment ,just the coarse adjustment ,which to be honest is fine.as the adjustment it does have , is smooth .i doubt very much you will need a fine adjustment for the volts and amps ,you can tell this unit is of decent quality and build .just by its weight alone . as a small unit for plating small to medium items it,s ideal . but be aware ,2.5 amps is the max for this unit ,so you are limited to 15 square inches of plating surface . so all in all , if its good enough for schools to use and universities. its built to last .

1 of 1 found this helpful very good product . when mixing together steel and hardener ,little tip , warm it up using a hair dryer or heat gun makes it nice and runny and it seems to go off faster

great product, but does have flaws ,especially the holes
for the price its a great product ,but be aware its not perfect by any means . anyone who owns a gsxr 750/600 srad , will know the screen holes in the fairing are 10mm , you would normaly use 10mm wellnuts ,the problem is the holes in the screen are larger than 10mm . which means you have to use 14mm wellnuts and drill larger holes in your fairing ,which is not a good thing . or you have to ,doctor up method to attach the screen .the holes in screen do match up well to the fairing ,there just to big ,the finish is,nt perfect ,but for the price , thats to be expected . so overall its a great screen , but the manufacturer really needs to make the mounting holes in the screen 10mm. to match the fairing. so be aware it not a straight bang it on and fit . unless you drill bigger holes in the fairing and use larger wellnuts .
