KING Motor is NOT the ANSWER!!! Buyer BEWARE!! HPI...IS THE ANSWER!!!
5 of 7 found this helpful First of all I like to get this straight. It was a Baja King Motor I purchased, NOT an Hpi Baja. The reason I purchased the Baja from King Motors was the Price for all the aftermarket aluminuim and the 30.5cc Big Bore motor it aready had verses the HPI with the 26cc motor. Pros about this purchase 1. Thats right, I did say 1 thing. The motor RUNS. The Cons, I had to replace Every Piece Of plastic on the car. I mean EVERY PIECE. And it's ALL "Compatible." I don't think so.From the steering servo break a gear first 2 mins to bolt falling out of two-speed going through the gears. EVERY bolt, Nuts, and screw was so tight it either stripped of broke off. So much time into this and 1000's of dollars later, Every piece on the car is HPI or Integy. I'm talking down to the frame, even Broke. The ONLY Highlight of the purchase was the MOTOR. Still after a Year Runs like a Champ. The aluminuim Parts where case aluminuim, not CNC. Do NOT think you are getting a deal on this car because YOU ARE NOT!!!! Just spend the money and get an HPI with a DDM or O'neil Brothers motor. I Promise you, you'll be money ahead!!!!
