The alarm on this timer is near silent. If there is any background noise at all, you will not hear it. Waste of money.

Fun while it lasts
0 of 1 found this helpful I bought this game because I had heard so much about the Sims and looked forward to the ongoing aspect of it. But that is the one component that is missing from Sims 2 for DS. This game was over so quickly! The idea is to build up and run a hotel in Strangetown. But there is very little to do: Once the original nine rooms are completed, no new ones are unlocked, so you are done there. There are some great missions associated with the penthouse, but there are only three! Once you have completed the third, the game, disappointingly enough, is over. There are other, smaller missions and tasks to complete along the way, but, sadly, they are always the same. Lost items are always found in the same place; foes are all defeated in the same manner. Overall, this game is a good way to kill a weekend for Sims fans, but don't look for much else here.
