Still a valuable active stylus for Venue Pro owners
1 of 1 found this helpful Some years have passed since the launch of the Venue Pro branding. I saw a lot of mixed reviews about its own active stylus so I decided to skip on the first two generations and ended up buying the last one (rev A00 as marked on the box).
I had an excellent service with pricing, shipping and packaging with my dealer. My stylus is working as it is intended to be and that makes me happy. Just keep in mind some minor details: You do not need to pair the stylus with any software, it just works since the very first moment when you put the AAAA battery in it; and speaking of it, I experienced bad connection issues at first, but replacing the battery included in the box with a new one solved everything. The palm rejection feature works good if you make sure to see the cursor on the screen before you start writing/drawing. Its speed is good for me but I can not ask for more as I use the cheaper model with an Atom processor and only 2 Gb of RAM so I can only suppose that a more capable hardware can improve the experience.
Lastly, I can not give an artist (painting/drawing) viewpoint about it since my main use of the stylus is for sheet music hand writing.
