Solved a big problem
4 of 4 found this helpful I bought this to enable the home health aides to transfer my dad from his bed to different chairs and to the commode. He's a tall man and very weak and doesn't really walk at all. The aides were having a tough time with the transfers and I went online to try to find a solution because I did not want to use a Hoyer lift on him (which would only add to him becoming more of an invalid). I also didn't want anyone getting injured in the transfer process. I came upon this device and, after watching several YouTube videos, I ordered it. The aides LOVE it and it makes the whole process of moving him around SO much easier for all involved. God Bless the person who invented this! It's really ingenious and it has made life a lot more pleasant for dad and the aides. I'm a nurse and I have never seen this used in a hospital and I'm not sure why? It is fantastic!
