Awesome ... simply awesome ....
I've played everything from college campuses to hardcore punk clubs to church worship events. I've used effects pedals straight into the board, I've run thru combo amps and I've played shows thru a marshall full stack (2 412's with a 100 watt tube head). I bought this as a "i need to scale down to something my wife thinks is reasonable but will do everything i need" option. If I'd bought mesa boogie 30 years ago I never would've wasted my time on the Fender M80, the Randall RG80, the Laney AOR30 stack, the Laney Linebacker half stack, or the Marshall rig. I kid you not, this amp does it all, and it does it better. 8 different modes (two modes on each of the two channels plus a "push" option for each mode), the ability to switch from 50 mind melting watts down to 5 (still plenty loud in the basement), the legendary mesa tones, plus the option to add cabinets .... can't express how blown away and pleased i am. currently i run a highway one telecaster thru it mostly, but also use a fender american strat ('96), a les paul custom and a taylor acoustic (yep, even my acoustic) thru this. not one gets a single bad tone, but the tele is my personal favorite. this thing rocks alls styles, classic rock, worship, metal, country. for the most part i play a greenday meets social distortion meets lincoln brewster kinda thing (yeah, "good luck" - i've heard that before, but this is what i like ...) buy this amp ... but beware, it's not for the faint of heart ....
