A horror game that surprises you with its puzzle aspect.
Geist is one of those hidden first-party gems created by Nintendo. It is in fact very good at doing what it is trying to achieve: exploration and puzzle solving in a horror-like game. The exploration grants you with tokens that unlock new modes in the multiplayer and it also lets you upgrade your health.
The puzzle solving is probably its biggest aspect. I first thought it would be weird for a horror game to incorporate puzzle elements and I was surprised. You cannot just possess anyone at will you must first scare them in some way and then you can proceed. The puzzles incorporate different aspects of the possession ability which are then explored to the fullest.
