Perfect replacement battery
Easy to install and restored life to my old GPS. Initial charge was good (about 2.5 hours), but this increased to about 3.5 hours on the third or forth cycling (charge/discharge cycle). Now it seems to be holding at around 3.5 hrs which is actually better than when the GPS was new. So, all in all, I'm very satisfied with the battery.

The original one soon stopped working. This one from eBay seems much better made.

Does its job well
1 of 1 found this helpful Most low to averaged priced refrigerators use poor quality, inaccurate thermostats which means that the interior temperature can easily vary by 8 or even 10 degrees. Moreover, with no readout the chances are you don't even know what the interior temperature is! The STC-1000 can easily be wired to by-pass the refrigerator's built in thermostat and thus provide much better temperature control. Programming the STC-1000 is simple and is not forgotten should power be lost to the unit. The internal relays are rated at 10 amps, which should be more than enough for all but the largest refrigerators, even at start up.
The STC-1000 can also be used to control not only a cooling system, but also a heating system or both. This is useful for maintaining temperature of, for example, brewing installations. This is an excellent unit that appears to be well made. For greater accuracy the unit can be calibrated to within +/- 10 degrees in 0.1 degree steps. There is also an adjustable delay programmable for refrigerator control to protect the compressor from rapid re-starts. Some people might object that the readout is only in degrees C (which suits the whole world except the USA!).
