Needs a re-design but it did work
Few issues i had with it.
First the paint chips, no primer was used.
I spent 20min removing the flaking paint off of the tool before i would allow it inside of my 6l80.
Then the angle of the snap ring ends needs to be angled in more.
The snap ring kept sliding off of the tool.
And finally, the curve of the handle is too low.
Hits the case while you try and fight the snap ring and the terrible angle of the ends.
The ends are very hard, a file didn't even scratch them while i was trying to add some texture to assist with grabbing of that snap ring.
Otherwise, the tool worked great.
Plenty of leverage to compress that massive snap ring.
If the tool could have actually held on, i would have given it 4 stars.
If i was planning to do a bunch of these, i would have bought the adapt a case version for more $$
Doing this once or twice?
This is a great option to save a few bucks.

this sure did not last long...
I bought a set of these bearings for my 03 S10, I installed them correctly and ensured I torqued them down to the correct spec, however not more than 3 months later I started getting lots of play in them
So far no bearing growl, just lots of play.
Enough that when getting a safety inspection done the tech noted how loose they were...
Possible I got a bad set, however I don't even see any clear way to deal with a warranty on these things...

Lt1000 = no more broken front axles!
Nice upgrade for a craftsman LT1000 with a 20hp v twin!
I needed to swap over the spindles, and the center bushing, but the rest was bolt on.
Cons: I had to take the front end apart (again).
Pros: hopefully the last time!
