Better price than refurbished. Better hardware too.

I've been using a 2007 17" MacBook Pro. It's about dead and was looking for a nice desktop. Found a few different models of iMac. Planned on upgrading the hardware so it didn't matter if I got a lesser model. Just by luck the 27" iMac I got was the best of both worlds. Already has a SSD and upgraded RAM. Performance is great. I'm a graphic designer so I'm running Adobe CC and other design software. No problems. Everything is smooth. The Intel Core i3 is not the best for gaming, which was just a side thing anyway. I can see down the road I may install a Core i7 but that's years from now. This iMac is in great shape. No dings or scratches. To be honest it's almost too big of a screen. You don't realize how big a 27" is gonna be until you're sitting in front of it. That being said. The screen is gorgeous and the colors look great. It's boots up super quick with the SSD. Transferring all my media was simple and straightforward. All the websites selling refurbished iMacs couldn't compare to the upgrades this had and the price I got it for. Easily saved $200 by getting it through eBay.

Not bad, not great

Took me a while to get it set up but it works great. I like the menu system. It came packaged well but no instructions means you have to figure it out yourself. Not that hard though just takes extra time. I may end up buying another one if that means anything.
