Good reformulation
2 of 2 found this helpful This product is not the original 'Vent Vert' composed by Germaine Cellier. However, Calice Becker's reformulation is very good and the original perfume hard to get.
Notwithstanding, this formulation is not the first 1940's edition and ought not to be sold as such : there is a 50 year gap between the first version and the reformulation !
While I enjoy the reformulation and have no personnal complaint, I think the definitions for 'First version' and 'Vintage' ought to be clarified and respected, because they confuse both buyers and sellers, whether it is intentional or not.
Legally, there seems to be a solution to this problem in the future : labelling on scent bottles ought to be made as strict as on wine, i.e, the year of production should to be indicated. However, certain vintage bottles will always remain quite impossible to date accurately, given the informal practices before the late 1970's.

Reasonnably priced item and quick expedition
Calice Becker's reformulation of Vent Vert is good and, of course, much cheaper and avalaible than the original I only possess in very small doses.
