It works
I feel like the time is SLIGHTLY different between left and right swings of the pendulum. It is also really loud - I wish there was a way to make it quieter.

OK if you're mechanically inclined
9 of 9 found this helpful I bought one for degassing epoxy resin. It works! BUT: the chinglish manuals are absolutely awful. The cap on the vacuum pump where vacuum oil goes is label "gas". The drain plug is called the "oil outing mouth." The vacuum oil that came with it was contaminated - could clearly see some black stuff in there, don't know what it was. The gauge should read zero with no vacuum - mine reads about -5. The safety instructions simply say "turn the pump off when the needle stops moving, or you risk implosion." Well, if the needle stopped moving, the pump has reached its maximum vacuum, the vessel is withstanding it - so what's the risk? An accurate gauge and better explanation would make me feel better. Assembly instructions are all but nonexistent, but not too hard to figure out yourself. BUT in the end? I had no trouble assembling it and getting it to work, and it does.
