Exceptional detail
This models obliterates all the competitors. It is well engineered and has some of the best detail you will find on a 1/700 scale model. I wish it had a waterline option, but I can live with full-hull in terms of what one gets. Trumpeter and Dragon versions of this models are not in the same league, nor are the resin products. Moreover, the accuracy is dead on according to a number of plan sets. This Tirpitz is the best 1/700 in the game. Incidentally, some say the AA guns are "chunkier" that Trumpet and Dragon models, but that is pure BS. Compare the 37 mm, and you will find the Revell model's more accurate and more detailed. The same is true for the 20mm guns.

A good value for the price charged.
Very basic, but the model nicely captures the ship's lines.

Very good details and excellent fit.
A fine model of a classical WWI battleship. I hate the inclusion of PE, which is no fun to work with. But that is all the rave nowadays, so the makers will shove it down our throats, rather we want it or not. Still, an excellent and detailed model of an interesting vessel.
